I came across a banishing ritual in my "Tarot of a Moon Garden" book this morning and the timing for this one is fitting nicely with moon phase now.  The banishing part of the ritual is best done on a Saturday, a Saturn-influenced day on a waning moon and it calls upon Hecate, the goddess at this time in the lunar cycle who rules.  "Invoke the blessings of Hecate. Welcome Her in darkness and she will return you to the light. Create a personal rite of transformation. Banish limitations and emotional encumbrances by the light of a black candle at midnight on the waning moon. Then empower the new with the flame of a red candle on the New or Full Moon. Mix a fragrant blend of incense or oil from woody, earthy resins or essences such as cypress, dittany of crete, frankincense, patchouli, and sandlewood. Burn the incense with your black candle. Anoint the red candle with the oil. Whether you are weeding or seeding, use with incense or oil in any manner to remind yourself of the 'gardening' in progress."   So tomorrow is Saturn's Day, with the Balsamic/Waning Moon - you can do the banishing rite then and on Moon Day (Monday) in the evening is the New Moon and then you can do the empowerment rite with the red candle....   Thought I would post today to give you a day or so to get some supplies together.
