    Here it is Woden's Day (Wednesday) and there are a few minor magickal energies for 'clarity.'  Today is Twelfth Night. 

Twelfth Night

   Twelfth Night is the date in the Christian calendar for taking down the decorations.  Before you do this, go through all the greeting cards you received and update your address book. Then, if you do not use the cards yourself, separate the written half from the illustrated nhalf and take the pictures to a charity store so that others can use them to create gift tags for next year, or to a children's nursery group so the pictures can be cut up for collage or other artwork.
   Just recently there was a brief discussion among some of the bloggers I connect with that rebelled a bit against the technological and computer age.  Instead of using email and the phone, they set up a way to write (yes, with pen and paper) letters to one another. Around about this time of the year it can be really friendly to put a little extra effort into communicating properly with some of those old friends who you send cards to, but otherwise rarely communicate with properly. Forget all those 'thank you' letter you were forced to write as a child, think more along the lines of a chatty note to give your 'lost touch with' friends the highlights of your life over the last year or so. We tend to illustrate our letters with a few very rough sketches: matchstick men and almost cartoon-like animals, etc. While I'm the first to say I'm no artist, these things do make for a more individual and personal communication.

Moon in Libra - Cardinal Air Sign - 'I balance'

    When the moon is in this transit there are concerns regarding cooperation, harmony, focus on relationships, and fine artistic pursuits.  When the Moon is in Libra all partnership activity will be heightened during this moon transit.  If you are not in a relationship at this time you may find yourself craving a partnership or feel alone or lonely.  Be aware of superficial bonding just to ease the pain of aloneness. This is a nice time to throw a party as everyone will be feeling extremly social and will try to please and flatter others.
