Tiu's Day - Mars Day - the Day of Activity and Physicality, Passion and Desire.

Lughnasdh

Around Lughnasadh, Witches cast spells for connectedness, career, health, and

financial gain. It is important, however, to realize how the Sun is changing
at this point, gradually growing weaker as August approaches September. This
is a time to do grounding and Sun meditations. Visualize the Sun's golden
light warming your body. You want to feel the glory of the Sun's energy, and
then use it for more mundane spellwork. For example, after meditating on the
importance of the Sun and thanking the Goddess and God for their gifts of
light and heat, you might cast a spell using the sun's energy to get a new
job or perhaps a material gift of some kind. Asking for money or material
gain is not forbidden or looked down upon in our spiritual tradition, as long
as doing so does not become an obsession or the primary goal of your life.
Extreme wealth or extreme poverty is neither healthy nor natural.
Witchcraft, as I see it, strives to strike a balance between poverty and
wealth.
