Last Quarter Moon Phase - at http://www.zodiacarts.com/Calendar.shtml , wonderful website for looking up a lunar calendar, they give the keywords for the Last Quarter as being - realignment, revision, integration, and cleansing.  This is the time in a lunar cycle to take closing action, to follow-up and complete the activities begun at the New Moon phase.  Remember those goals you set?  Check and see what is happening in that area of your life.  During this phase you becomke aware of what is and what not working regarding the achievement(s) of your goal(s) for this cycle.  The movement is toward integration - integrating into your life the goals you set.  Open to your successes. MANIFEST YOUR GOAL(S).  Be responsible.  Hmmm, this last bit of advice is sounds like Capricorn's influence today.
The moon is still in Capricorn.

This is Tiu's Day - Tuesday - the day of Activity and Physicality, Passion and Desire.  How does this mesh with Tiu''s energies?  Well, one of the aspects of Capricorn's influences is that this is a good time
for setting and achieving goals, 'going for it' materially because now under Capricorn's influencial energies we feel persistent and ambitious.  So this an excellent time for reviewing those goals you set at the New Moon.

I read something of interest this morning in "Seasons of the Witch Primer: A Companion Guide3" by Victoria D. Danann - it is about the 'fact that certain kinds of spells lend themselves to certain kinds of weather.'  I am having a rainy morning here today after a short thunderstorm moved through around 4:30AM and according to the Primer here: 'Rainy days are wonderful days for water magick.'  Makes sense doesn't it. She also says that windy days are great for air magick and that cold days are good for fire magick.  Ms. Danann also points out that if you find yourself dreading an aspect of a spell or work with a particular matick, don't bother.  You're not going to get anywhere using the thing that seems daunting or like a chore.  Sage advice there I think.  Follow your intuition as always.
