Balsamic Moon - The end of one cycle and the beginning of another. Keywords for the Balsamic phase are: transition, release, transformation, renewal and purity. It is the phase in a cycle when you must let go of everything you have been working on that does not deal with the current cycle issues. During this phase you reflect on the passing cycle and prepare for the new. Trust in renewal. It is important to separate from others now so that you can clear the intellect of negativity. LET GO. Become still and meditate. The Balsamic Moo9n (or waning crescent moon) rises before dawn and sets midafternoon. She is the last sliver of Moon seen in the eastern sky in the dawn and in the very early morning. I think I love the look of the Balsamic Moon.  Since I am outside quite early every morning walking my hound of hell I often get to view this beautiful phase...  This morning She was there in a clear sky.  It was cloudy all day yesterday but overnight the skies cleared and I got the privilege of see Her slender beauty.  The balsamic moon is the COMPOST phase in the garden of lunar phases. This is when the nutrients remain
in the soil, providing nourishment for the next new seed.  If you were born during the balsamic moon phase you possess the potential to be wise, insightful, understanding and patient. You are prophetic and unique.

With Moon in Leo we have the guts to be visible and bring culture to life. In your garden or life, arrange, glorify and weed the extraneous so your star can shine. This is lunar transit when dramatic happenings, especially concerning emotions, being the center of attention, exuberance, vitality and working with patriarchal issues become the hallmarks of this time.  This is a time of vital energy, affection and romance but being that moon is in a balsamic phase, take the time out from your holiday weekend Leo extravaganza to sneak away and be still and quiet and briefly meditate on the Dark Moon
and New Moon coming up in a couple of days... As the moon moves to Virgo (which will happen on Tuesday) all this ambitious energy of Leo will become assuming.  It is hard to recognize limits in a Leo Moon time, and power issues can erupt. Also you may find yourself fighting the urges to spend money. Moon in Leo is the best time to work magick involving authority, power over others (don't get too greedy on this type of rite), courage, fertility or childbirth.  Healing rituals of the upper back, spine or heart are also done during this period of time.

Here it is - Sun Day - this is the Day of Intent, Creation and Renewal... There are Major magickal energies for Success - work your spells and or rites accordingly.  Don't be afraid to ask for what you need in the coming week.
