Moon in Taurus - The void of course moon won't enter Taurus until this evening at 7:46PM EDST and so we will be in void of course most of the day.  Here is some information from Zodiac Arts website:
Moon Void of Course

The Void of Course Moon indicates nothing to worry about or nothing will happen. If you begin a project during this time, it may not succeed or ever develop; decisions made may never be acted upon. Disturbing news heard at this time may not be worth worrying about. This is a good time to gather information while detaching from the outcome. The void period ends when the moon enters the next sign.
Void of Course Moon times determined using Ptolemaic aspects (conjunction, opposition, trine, square, sextile) and aspects in declination (parallel and contra-parallel).
http://www.zodiacarts.com/Calendar.shtml     The Moon in Taurus grounds us; it slows us down and wakes our sensual nature and stubbornness, helps us dig deeper roots. Taurus asks us to discover what nurtures us. We can almost feel the mud oozing between our toes as we push down to seek out our deeper roots. This awakens our senses and our sensuality and grows our stubbornness. It is a time to cultivate our material resources, our homes and our body. This lunar transit concerns money, work, property, the body, home and family, building cautiously and slowly, being conscientious, growth, sensitivity, planting and emotional patterns based on security. The energy flow is even and a time for us to experience the sensual.
The forceful forward movement of Aries becomes solid, calm and patient during Taurus. There is a desire to protect material goods and a strong need for financial security. It is a poor time for change or getting a loan, as people are very cautious and reserved about money, especially during the first part of the transit.
The middle of Taurus is more calm. It is a good time to continue or finish projects or to stay at home with family. Taurus gives attention to order and detail. Emotionally, there is stubbornness, but great sensitivity to others. This sensual sign is a good time appreciate the wonders of the beautiful earth. During a moon in Taurus transit you might want to work in the garden.  Moon in Taurus is the best time to work magick for love, real estate, material acquisitions, and money. Healing rituals for ailments of the throat, neck and ears are also done during this period of time.  Those who were born under a Taurus moon sign changes slowly and will have deep roots; they collect, touch, support, see the sacred in the world of matter. Steady, they can loan their strength to others, but may need to learn the beauty in change.

Moon Day - the Day of Remembering and Feeling....  there are minor magickal energies for feminine and domestic issues.

Weather Magick

One of the older accusations levelled against Witches was the raising of storms, especially with a view to wrecking ships at sea. Sailors in some place will still 'buy the wind' from a Witch before setting out.  Many 'spells' are taught to children in an attempt to bring good weather. Probably the most common of these is the chant, "Rain, rain, go away, come again another day," and another one is "Rain, rain, go away, come again at night, not day." This can maintain the balance of wet and dry. There is also this one: "The clouds are sheep, the wind's a shepherd, shepherd take your sheep away." which should be repeated three times, facing into the wind.
While children may want to keep the rain away, lest it spoil their outdoor games, spells to produce rain are just as useful. Douse a cat in water and let it shake itself outside to bring showers. Similarly, douse a besom and shake it into the wind. Rain sticks can be brought or made for this. Ms. West says hers is so effective that she keeps it well out of reach unless really needed.  To raise the wind, perhaps to dry your washing, stand with your back to the clothesline and whistle into whatever slight breeze there might be. Of course the ability to 'whistle up the wind' has long been said to be a sure sign of a Witch.
To conjure sunshine place 7 orange candles in a circle with one gold one in the center. Light the orange candles starting in the East, moving clockwise around the circle, lighting the central one last.
