Full Moon - The Moon is 180-225 degrees ahead of the Sun. It rises at
sunset and sets at dawn. Therefore a midnight working for when the moon
is directly overhead is best. Now the Moon is at the height of its strength -
spells cast at this time are ideal for completion. The Mother is represented
by the Full Moon.
This is prime time for rituals for prophecy, protection and divination. Any
working that needs extra power such as help finding a new job or healings
for a serious conditions can be done now;. also,  love, knowledge, legal
undertakings,  money and dreams. Astrologically the Sun and Moon are in
opposition (opposite each other in sky and in opposite signs of the zodiac).
She opens and blossoms during the Full Moon in the FLOWER of the
moon plant, with the desire to share her beauty with others. Those born
during a Full Moon phase enjoy companionship and partnership and the
desire to merge deeply. Fulfillment and illumination are their goals.
Keywords for the Full Moon are: fulfillment, illumination, realization, and
experience. It is the time in a lunar cycle that you are given a clear view so
that you can make adjustments to put you back on track to manifesting the
goals you set at the New phase. Go to a public place. Do something with a
friend. LISTEN. Receive awareness. Understand others.

Moon Day - Monday is named after the Moon. The Latin term for Monday is
Dies Lunae (moon's day); in the Old English language, this day was Monandang;
in Greek it was Hermera Selenes.  All those different names and languages translate
to the same thing: the 'day of the moon.'  Working with the different phases of the moon
is an important skill that takes a bit of time for Witches to learn. So why not start today
(if you haven't already) - this day dedicated to the Moon in all of its magickal energies
and aspects?  Magickally Moon Day encourages the lunar energies of inspiration, illusion,
prophetic dreams, emotions, psychic abilities, travel, women's mysteries and fertility.
Why not set up a little alter to honor this Full Moon - light up silver, white and/or pale
blue candles and incense with scents of gardenia, jasmine, lemon, lemon balms, lily, myrrh,
sandalwood and/or Stephanotis.  Lay out your silver jewelry and pearls and add moonstones,
quartz crystals and a sapphire.  Place the tarot cards the Moon and the High Priestess on
this altar. Most importantly, get outside tonight and watch the moon for a while. Enjoy
your favorite melon cut into slices and brew a cup of chamomile tea, enchant it with a little
moon magick and relax. Be imaginative, and create your own personal lunar magick and
witchery.  Go on.....the moonlight becomes you!
