December 29th, 2009
There are Major magickal energies for spells/rites regarding Education today - the correspondencesw are: the Element of Air (the Moon is in the Mutable Air Sign of Gemini);
the color Yellow; Knight of Swords; and the rune Eohwaz. The process of learning usually means replacing previously held beliefs or opinions with new ones. This starts a chain reaction which begins with mental chaos. That is followed by changes in one's vibration and that, in turn, is followed by being out of sync with surroundings. The stuff and, even the people, may no longer seem to fit. That is why 'comfort zone' is the typical choice even though it is not in our own future best interest.
The tarot card - the Knight of Swords for education spells: This suit is the suit of Air, or intellect, and governs traditional learning. This is the card of mind expansion and new perspectives. The Knight is brilliant and also fearless in pursuit of new knowledge.
Other colors to use in Education spells/rites can be Dark Blue for intellectual support; or Orange for resolve to undertake the unknown.
If the issue is one of funding for an education, then using a spell for money might be more appropriate.
If the education being sought is in a magickally related area then you might be using magickal energy to help you find a teacher - if you have been unable to find one who is suitable, you might cast to have prospective mentor cross your path or you might request that the information you need become available to you.
