Moon in Cancer - With Moon in Cancer our feelings take the lead. Cancer encourages the wisdom rising out of our oceanic unconscious through moods and feelings. Ground in the magic of our home as a temple. Ask what protecting and feeding. Those who are born with a Cancer moon sign search for what nurtures their souls and the world's. They may need to learn to carry their security with them. They respects our deepest feelings, eases our past fears. This transit concerns desires about a home, emotional security, entertaining friends, cooking, security issues, nostalgia, and the desire to nurture. We are emotionally and psychically sensitive at this time, and because of these strong emotions it is often called a 'crybaby' moon. This is not a transit when it's easy to be alone as needs for security in love and friendship are high. Nostalgia reigns supreme. Be careful to avoid conflict, as a grudge formed now will take a long time to heal. Moon in Cancer is the best time to work magick for home and domestic life. Healing rituals for ailments of the chest and stomach are also done during this period of time. As the moon moves toward a Leo transit on Friday there can be a time of great personal warmth and friendship.
This is Woden's Day - Mercury Day - the Day of Communication and Connection... There are Major magickal energies today for Magick!! A magick power day is a delicious gift of all-purpose energy. All you must do is decide how best to use it. You can relate the energies of this day to the Seven of Cups tarot. There are many choices laid before you right now that it may feel bewildering. But look carefully: are some of these really just daydreams or fantasies? Before you point to a menu item, discern which of these tantalizing possibilities are practical propositions, and which are just tempting illusions.
The Seven of Cups
The Seven of Cups has been called the card of 'potential' which is also, perhaps, the essence of magick; requesting cooperation from the 'powers that be' to manipulate physics or future events according to your desire. This is the card of dreams and imagination. In divination this card could mean a need for grounding. For spellwork, it means "What will you have?" The color to be using is Deep Purple.
