Moon in Aquarius - This is a transit of dealing with facts, organization, political issues, desire to save the world through social action, connection with others in social situations, scientific pursuits, detachment and the need to come and go without restriction.  Aquarius Moon's monthly transit is a dramatic mood change. Where Capricorn values tradition and caution, Aquarius indicates anything new, innovative, different or unconventional. Extremes of behavior occur during this moon, especially extremes of optimism and pessimism. You may feel the need to be friendly and social but don't want to be too personal or go too deep. An Aquarius Moon sign person can be detached or rational rather than emotional, and will change only if it's logical to do so. Freedom is very important now and you need to live with as few restrictions as possible. The Moon in Aquarius expands our circles and offers the magick of collaboration; spirit and politics weave together. We can get too farsighted now and need to stay aware of others' feelings. Let go of assumptions and find new, unusual allies. Those born with an Aquarius moon sign came here to understand group dynamics. They may need to learn to be comfortable with emotional intimacy. They offer us a global perspective and collaboration.  Moon in Aquarius is the best time to work magick involving science, freedom, creative expression, problem-solving, extrasensory abilities, friendship and the breaking of bad habits or unhealthy addictions. Healing rituals for ailments of the calves, ankles, or blood are also done at this time.

On this Freya's Day - Venus Day - the Day of sharing and Relationships - there are Major magickal energies for rites and spells regarding Popularity.

We Are All in This Together
(From: we'Moon 2010, by Mama Donna Henes 2006)

We all come from the earth and return to her belly. We are all made of the same substance, same as the sea, the soil, the stars. Birth, growth, death, development, change, adaptation, transformation, evolution .... it is all really just about recycling.
We breathe the same air as our cave-dwelling ancestors - inhaling and exhaling, exchanging carbon dioxide and oxygen with our plant relatives untold billions of times over the millennia. And the same holds true for water. We drink the tears of crocodiles and elephants. It rains, it pools, it evaporates, it rains. We drink, we pee. Again and again and again, in a grand cosmic round robin.
All borders and boundaries and separations are pure illusion. Each time we touch someone, we leave some particles of our skin atoms behind and pick up a parcel of new ones. Thus we merge, literally becoming a part of each other. I am you and you are me and we are we.
We are all in this together, inextricably bound on our beautiful blue planet spinning through space. Remember that extraordinary photograph of Earth taken from the moon? We are one family, one community, one world, one living, breathing entity. And the sooner we realize it, the happier, safer and saner we will be.
