Moon in Leo - It's high drama with the Moon in Leo as she steps out onto the stage to entertain us once again. You will probably want to act out the 'drama queen' of yourself, or just be romantic. This is a transit of vital energy, affection, and romance. During this moon transit we feel we have guts to be visible and bring culture to life. Those with Moon in Leo sign came here to dramatize and ritualize their world. They may need to learn to find the sacred in the mundane. They offer us celebration and fascination and honor self-expression. Enjoy the warmth of kindness and generosity, excitement and exuberance, parties and celebrations. You will want to spend money during Moon in Leo. It's hard to recognize limits in a Leo Moon transit; it's also a time for power issues to erupt. Who will be the center of attention? Ambition and independent leadership are important issues. Leo has great pride, which will now be evident. As the moon moves to Virgo (on Moon Day) the ambitious energy of Leo becomes unassuming.  Moon in Leo is the best time to work magick involving authority, power over others, courage, fertility or childbirth. Healing rituals for ailments of the upper back, spine, or heart are also done during this period of time.

This is Saturn's Day - the Day of Manifestation and Structure, Assessment and Responsibility. This will be a good day to assess your progress on the goals you set for this lunar cycle. Are they manifesting?

Personal Correspondences

One of the basic platforms of Wicca/the Craft is self-knowledge.  "Know thyself" is cardinal rule for budding Witches. Someone once said: 'Know yourself and you know the universe.'  While this be overstating a bit, it still can hold true. Something to be working on as we draw within for the dark time of the year, is work on your self-image. Finding your own personal correspondences - your own connectors or helpers - is a good way to realize who you truly are.  These will be things that 'speak' to you and about you.  These can things that seem to awaken something within you.  They can objects or symbols that strengthen your connection to your own magick.  Things like stones, the four elements, flowers, metals, animals, cloth, herbs, seasons, foods, runes, tarot cards. Knowing your Sun sign and Moon sign and also your Ascending sign can also give you more knowledge of your inner, true self.  You will want to define yourself but not limit yourself. Don't force yourself to 'connect' with something just because you think that it is the 'right' thing. If it doesn't 'speak' or awaken something within you don't worry about finding that particular personal correspondence - move to onto other correspondences. Explore your connection to earthly things and to unearthly things.
Some of my personal correspondences I have already found - particularly my Sun sign, my Moon sign and Ascending sign and come to terms as to how they express me.  I have yet to find other personal correspondences.  I know I connect mainly with silver as my metal personal correspondence but I have yet to find the stone I connect with. I tend to waffle from one to another.  My personal correspondence in animals is first Cat, but I also find myself connected with Crows.  So start to looking for your own personal correspondences and discover how they speak to you.

I absolutely love your daily postings. I am indeed a budding witch, and believe it or not, I am not sure of my ascending sign or my moon sign. Can you point me in the right direction? Many thanks, ForestMaiden

Thank you soooo much! I did see my chart. So I am a Scorpio with a rising moon in Aquarius and a rising sign in Aquarius. This really helped.
